Inspired by the recent controversy caused by the temporary removal of Waterhouse's painting 'Hylas and the Nymphs' from the Manchester art gallery by artist Sonia Boyce. The painting depicts Hylas' surprise encounter with a group of Nymphs upon his search for water.
